Description
This URGENT Requirement is to establish a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract and issuance of the initial order for contract minimum with different order ranges for each year of the five (5) year ordering period. Noun: Alarm Monitor; P/N: 713980-1; NSN: 6340-01-432-6183UC. Contract maximum is 16 each for the first year. Contract maximum is 2 each for the remaining 4 out-years. Contract minimum is 1 each for the remaining 4 out-years. FUNCTION: The purpose of the FMS/INS Alarm-Monitor is to provide visual indications of FMS/INS and Global positioning system (GPS) operational status for the C-5 Aircraft for the U.S. Air Force. SIZE/DIMENSION: 1.35 IN; Height: 4.14 IN; Width: 6.88 IN; Depth: 1 LB. DELIVERY: 60 Days After Receipt of Order. The approximate solicitation date is 27 February 2003 with an estimated response date of 26 March 2003 or sooner. Solicitation will be available for downloading and/or viewing from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. No hard copies will be issued. Restricted Sources are as follows: Aerospace Avionics, Inc. (Cage Code: 19623) and ARINC Research Corp (Cage Code: 29562), Authority 10 USC 2304?(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2. ?Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one of a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements? applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or the Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. He Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
