Description

SYNOPSIS: Renovate 2 District Courtrooms, Courtrooms #2 and #3, on the sixth floor of the U.S. Federal Building and Courthouse. In general work includes replacement of wall, floor, and ceiling finishes as well as replacement of courtroom millwork including the Judge's bench, Clerk's bench area, Jury box, and gallery bench seating. HVAC, fire sprinkler, and electrical systems will be modified to accommodate new courtroom layouts and design. Tel/data/security rough-in will be provided as part of the work. Requirement is not set-a-side. It is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. Proposed issue date is 11/20/02. Proposed site visit date is 12/4/02. Proposed bid opening date is 1/6/03. Bidders must submit written request for construction documents following GSA Order PBS 3490.1, for sensitive but unclassified (SBU) building information. Agreement format (request format) has been posted to this site. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (05-NOV-2002).
