- The USDA, Forest Service, Southern Region 8 is soliciting quotes for Exclusive-Use, Type III Helicopter services for prescribed fire support for one (1) base year and a two (2) optional-year renewal period. The solicitation will be posted on this website on or about December 23, 2002. The designated base will be at Cherokee National Forest in Ducktown, Tennessee. All responsbile sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes 12 and 13. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-DEC-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 26-FEB-2003.
