Description
This is a sole source requirement for the repair of H-53 Air Force components: NSN 5960-00-111-0457SO, P/N 578805-1, Electron Tube (Magnetron) including: Basic quantity of 34 EA and an out year option with a quantity range of 1-46 EA of Electron Tube Repair. Destination: FB2065 for AF; Delivery: 30 days after receipt of contract. Firm fixed price requirements contract to Cage Code 88236 , Communications and Power Industries, Inc., Beverly Microwave Division, 150 Sohier Rd, Beverly, MA 01915-5536. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 18 March 2003. Approximate response date is 12 March 2003. All potential offerors should contact the buyer, Celeste R. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
