Description
The DHHS/Federal Occupational Health Service (FOHS) has a requirement to acquire occupational health professionals and ancillary staff that FOHS requires to deliver occupational health and clinical services specified in its Interagency Agreements in two separate areas of the United States. The Northeast Area consists of: Connecticut; Delaware; Maine; Massachusetts; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Vermont; and West Virginia. The Western Area consists of: Alaska; Arizona; California; Colorado; Hawaii; Idaho; Montana; Nevada; New Mexico; Oregon; Utah; Washington; Wyoming; with future potential for service delivery in and the American territories of Guam and American Samoa. The Contractor shall recruit, orient, train, and oversee physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical administrative support personnel, technical medical assistants, health educators and other professionals as necessary to deliver required services and operate existing and future FOHS Service Provision Sites (SPSs). Locations of SPSs include FOHS Occupational Health Centers (OHCs), FOHS Area Offices and remote sites throughout the contract areas. Services provided under this requirement shall be performed at the FOHS SPSs located in the previously listed states on a personal services contracting basis. The period of performance is for a base year with three (3) one (1) year option periods. Solicitation Number 233-03-0306 will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities website approximately 15 days after the publication of this notice. This requirement is set aside for competition amongst eligible organizations under the Small Business Administration 8(a) Program. Eligible 8(a) organizations interested in participating in this competition are requested to submit notification of their intent to the Contracting Officer. The notification may be submitted by e-mail to nhaney-ceresa@psc.gov and should include: organization's name, address, point of contact, telephone number and facsimile number. Interested offerors are advised that distribution of FOHS manuals, articles and forms referenced in the solicitation is not practicable. Arrangements for review of these documents may be made by contacting the following individuals: Northeast Area: Kim Deffinbaugh on (301) 594-0638 or kdeffinbaugh@psc.gov and Western Area: Miriam Lancaster on (206) 615-2576 or mlancaster@psc.gov after the solicitation has been released. Reading rooms will be located at FOHS as follows: Northeast Area: 4350 East West Highway, 3rd Floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814 and Western Area: 2201 Sixth Ave., RX21, Room 1016, Seattle, Washington 98121. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. Current wage determination rate tables have been requested for the places of performance identified herein.
