- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to solicit with US Ecology, Richland, WA on a sole source basis for disposal of solid, radioactive waste in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. For a base period of performance from date of contract award through one year thereafter, with the possibility of four one-year option periods. Estimated annual quantity of waste is 4,000 cubic feet. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-JAN-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 24-FEB-2003.
