Sends electrical signals to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) identifying which mode of operation the CIVV Control and Cylinder is in at any given operation. NOUN: O-Ring; NSN: 5331-01-129-1627NZ; PN: 2667998-28; QTY: 53 OR 105 OR 158; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: Sept 2003 to Tinker AFB OK; APPLICABLE: F100-100/200 Engine; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: Center hole diameter 1.351 in minimum and 1.377 in maximum, cross sectional height 0.067 in minimum and 0.073 in maximum; PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Rubber chloroprene class; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: For use in hydrocarbon fuels containing 30 Pct aromatics. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 27 Dec 2002. Anticipated award date 28 Feb 2003. No telephone solicitaton requests well be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government Furnished drawings are not available. It is not anticipated that a formal solicitation will be issued. The award is expected to be made to sole source supplier Honeywell International. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
