- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED Synopsis/RFO FOR ACCESS TO SPACE: THE EVOLUTION OF AN IDEA AND A TECHNOLOGY HISTORY BOOK PREPARATION SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their offer. This notice serves as the official amendment to the subject solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify inconsistencies in the RFO. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. 1. There is an inconsistency in the RFO document: Clause F.3, Time of Delivery, states that quarterly payments will be of 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% for the contract term and options, while Attachment A, Statement of Work, section 7.0 states that the quarterly payments will each be 25% of the contract and options. The payment schedule in Clause F.3 will prevail. 2. Also under Clause F.3, with regard to the due dates of Oral Histories, the intent is to stagger the deliverables throughout the life of the project. At nine, twenty-one and twenty-four months each, respectively, the Contractor shall provide the Oral Histories completed to date. The final deadline for Oral Histories is thirty-six months after contract award (inclusive of options.) Offers shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFO posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on February 6, 2003 and published in FedBizOpps on February 6, 2003. Documents related to this solicitation will be available over the Internet. These documents are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
