- Description
- The Supply Department located at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for Supply Support Services under solicitation N00421-02-R-0274. This effort will be competed on a full and open (i.e. unrestricted) basis. The requirements, which will be described in a Performance Work Statement (PWS), include Requisition Processing Services, Requisition Monitoring Services, Receipt Document Processing Services, Inventory Integrity Services, and Systems Analysis Services. Some of the services require personnel cleared at the secret level, and the PWS will specify these services. Currently, the Government in-house workforce is performing the Supply Support services. The Navy intends to perform a cost comparison, pursuant to OMB Circular No. A-76, in order to determine the most cost effective service provider. Accordingly, a contract may or may not ultimately be awarded as a result of the study/cost comparison. If a contractor is selected as the service provider, an award will be made in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and all other applicable Navy and Government acquisition regulations. The solicitation will be issued on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis, and will include Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) line items to accommodate Government-ordered after hours work. Any resultant contract is anticipated to be for a base period and up to four option periods (period of performance not to exceed five years). The date planned for release of the solicitation is on/about 17 March 2003. Requests to add your firm to the source list must be submitted via e-mail to Katie Nepini at nepinikm@navair.navy.mil.
