Description
The U. S. Army Tank-Automotive Armaments Command (TACOM) is currently conducting a market survey and analysis to identify potential supplier(s) that can produce Paladin MACS stowage kits, FAASV MACS stowage kits, XM982 stowage kits for Paladin on the M109A6 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer System and the M992A2 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle (FAASV). The purpose of these ammunition stowage kits is to provide the capability for the Paladin and FAASV to properly stow the MACS and XM982 on board the Paladin on board the Paladin and FAASV. The potential number of vehicles to be upgraded with these kits are 737 Paladin and 707 FAASV?s over the next four (4) years. The prototype drawings for these kits are available upon request. Upon review of the submitted material, the Government may request an oral presentation from the contractor(s) for information exchange. This announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) synopsis and a market survey. Information obtained is for planning purposes only. It DOES NOT constitute an invitation for sealed bids nor a request for proposal (RFP) nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. In response to this market survey interested parties shall provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costs for production of these kits , as well as literature on current capabilities and efforts. Proprietary information should be properly identified as such. Your submission should include organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address and Fax number.
