- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Longleaf Containerized Pine Seedlings. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F08651-03-Q-0103. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 113210, with a small business size standard of six million dollars. This is a 100 % small business set-aside. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001, 750 MX (thousand) longleaf containerized seedlings. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work required to grow and deliver the required items for out-planting on Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, per the Statement of Work. The delivery of seedlings will be in shipments of one hundred thousand to one hundred fifty thousand and will be scheduled by Eglin authorized personnel. Shipments will be requested during the normal planting season 15 October 2003 through 30 January 2004. Deliveries shall be made FOB Destination to Eglin Natural Resource Branch, 107 Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida 32578 during the hours 0700 to 1300, Monday through Friday, except legal Federal holidays.
