Description

This project includes asbestos abatement of friable and non-friable asbestos material in all base facilities including housing. This contract will run for one year with four (4) option years (based on performance) and will include asbestos abatement utilizing unit priced line items. Types of asbestos containing materials which can be expected under this contract include surfacing materials, thermal system insulation, and other miscellaneous friable and non-friable products such as floor tile, ceiling tile, roofing felt, outdoor siding, cementitious concrete like products, and fabric. Individual delivery orders will be issued for each project. Anticipated award date is March 2003 timeframe. The performance time for the base year of the contract will be 365 calendar days. Each delivery order will include further time restrictions. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1799; the NAICS Code is 56291. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis, open to small businesses. Solicitation package will not be provided in printed form. For more information contact Lt Jeffrey B.
