- Description
- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to perform an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multi trade construction projects. All work to be performed at USCG Yard Baltimore, Maryland and other Coast Guard units within an approximate 100-mile range. The purpose of this IDIQ Multiple Award Task Order Contract is to provide for quick, cost effective responses to repairs, renovations, incidental demolition and construction situations relating to, but not limited to sitework, geotechnical, landscaping, surveying, mapping architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, high voltage work and safety upgrades to facilities at several locations. This acquisition will provide the Government with a construction product delivery method to accommodate quick and straight-forward projects, as well as some small but complex projects. The work may involve replacement in kind, renovation, repairs and modification work and/or new construction. It also may include incidental design. Facility repairs, renovations and construction shall conform to the requirements of the technical criteria listed in the Task Order. Asbestos and/or lead based paint abatement may be required during repairs, renovations and minor construction. Davis-Bacon Area Wage Rates shall be applicable. Pricing will be based on Means Facilities Construction Cost Data 2003 Edition. Offerors will be requested to submit coefficients (1. normal work hours. 2. Non-Standard working hours (after 5:00PM, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays) and 3. Work considered to be non-pre-priced.) The contract shall be for one year (Base Year) with four one-year options (total five years). (The performance period of each Delivery Order will be negotiated prior to award of each order.) The average Delivery Order ranges from $20K - $70K. However, there may be orders that range between $100K - $500K. Award will be based on Past Performance and Price. The NAICS is 236210 (SIC Code 1541). NOTE: This offer is set-aside for 8(A) firms only and limited to the geographic location of the Baltimore SBA office. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. The due date for proposals will be annotated on the Solicitation (SF-1442) when issued. A Bid Bond is not required. A Plan Holders or Bidders List is NOT available. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS.
