Description

The 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB IL, intends to purchase this Sole Source Requirement of Eureka Modular General Purpose Tent System Size Large Model #2480109, quantity of 4 each from its manufacturer, Johnson Outdoors Inc. The Air Force Medical Element Force Packing (MEFPAK) Unit recognizes this as a sole source because of the custom built Adjustable Y Pole, which was specifically designed for use for better servicing the Air Force mission. This tent has been approved by the Surgeon General with the following specifications: Minimum dimension requirements are 18'L x 18'W x 7' to 11'3"H with a floor area of at least 648 sq ft. The tent must be constructed of a light weight highly durable fabric and be available in a camo green color. The support frame must be capable of collapsing to a max length of 82 inches (must fit in cargo space of a HUMVEE). Award will be made on or about 7 August 2002. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-JUL-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 20-FEB-2003.
