- ***********PLEASE CONSIDER THIS NOTICE AS THE SYNOPSIS********** The 311 HSW/YACL, Brooks City-Base, TX intends to issue solicitation F41624-03-R-1105 for RADIO SET, PRC 90-2, Appl: Multi-Acft. National Stock Number (NSN) 5820-01-238-6603, Part Number P3-14-0059. NOTE: Relative NAICS code changed from 488330 in the Sources Sought Synopsis to 334220. Full and open competition between small and large businesses. NO GOVERNMENT FURNISHED DATA, DRAWINGS, BID SETS OR CD-ROM ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS ITEM. The purpose of the solicitation will be to award a three-year, firm fixed price requirements type contract, to include a (1) one-year base period with Best Estimate Quantity (BEQ) of 1,166; (2) one-year priced option periods with 1,166 BEQ each. Total BEQ is 3,498. Predominant Material: Electronics. Function: Survival Radio. SHIP TO: FB2065 and possible FMS destinations. FOB: Origin. Inspect & Accept: Origin. Delivery within 60 days from date of award. The approximate response date will be 24 Mar 03. No telephone requests. Only written requests or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be, considered. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal with bid sample that will be considered. Award can only be made to an approved source. To be considered an approved source, Offerors bid sample must pass testing. Please include your business size, phone number and address on each request. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program, director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
