- Synopsis modified to read as follows: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract for the lease of a maximum of two each compressors and two each air dryers, per specifications to be provided in the solicitation. Each air compressor shall supply at least 1500 standard cubic feet per minute while delivering outlet air pressure at 125 psig. Each air dryer shall be capable of drying 1500 standard cubic feet per minute minimum to 25 degrees Fahrenheit dew point or lower at 125 psig. The contract period of performance will be from the date of award through one year thereafter, with all deliveries being made to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - FOB Destination. Delivery desired within 14 days after receipt of order. The 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 532412) commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 7 March 03 with a closing date of 17 March 03. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua_c_carter@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 7 March 2003. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
