Description
NAVSEA Philadelphia is seeking expressions of interest, general information and data from potential sources for a gas turbine combustion intake air filtration system (ex. 3stage unit) for use aboard the DDG 51class ship. The candidate system must be certified by NAVSEA Philadelphia prior to installation on a ship. Independent lab test results can be submitted if they meet the NAVSEA Philadelphia criteria. Alternatively, the candidate system can be tested at the NAVSEA Philadelphia at a cost to the filter supplier. An information package will be provided to interested suppliers. Requirements include saltwater separation efficiencies, pressure drop and shock testing. Submissions for this announcement shall include the following information: 1. Technical report summarizing the specifications and advantages of the proposed system. 2. Past experience with similar type filter syst em including details of the system, the customer, the cost of the units, warranties and customer POC's including phone numbers. 3. Demonstrated reliability and durability of proposed system. 4. Available facilities and willingness to perform Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD). This is a request for information only and is not a request for proposals or announcement of a solicitation.
