Description
NA Grand Forks Phase 3 Levees, Grand Forks, North Dakota. This procurement is being issued for full and open competition and solicited utilizing sealed bid procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 with a small business size standard of $28.5 million . In the event the selected bid exceeds $1,000,000 and is from a large business, it will be necessary for that firm to submit a subcontracting plan that is acceptable to the Government prior to award. Work includes all plant, labor, materials and supplies to construct four reaches of flood barrier in Grand Forks. Principle features of work include approximately 15,000 linear feet of earth levee, approximately 5,000 linear fee of concrete floodwall, two closure structures, interior storm drainage including storm sewerage, four gated outlets, two storm water detention ponds, 3 pump stations, recreation facilities including one building, park equipment, drives, parking lots, trails and landscaping. The es timated order of magnitude of construction items in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price is over $10,000,000. All work will have to be completed 730 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. The official solicitation is availa ble only by CD-ROM. Ordering of the CD-ROM shall be made by registering for it at the web site listed below. Please read the information on the website regarding New Bid Requirement (GAO Decision). An unofficial version of the solicitation will be posted on the District?s website.
