NA . CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Savannah District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is currently seeking and soliciting 8(a) firms to participate in an 8(a) Presentations Conference. SDB 8(a) firms who are interested must have the capability to provide numerous Multidisciplinary Architect-Engineering services to the Savannah District and/or the South Atlantic Division. Proposed contracts awarded to 8 (a) firms who are selected will be administered by Savannah District for use on federal projects (civil and milit ary) under its jurisdiction and, if requested, for other Corps of Engineers Districts within the South Atlantic Division. The number of contracts that will be set-aside for the 8(a) program, contract limits, and contract size will be determined when the a nnouncement for selection of firms is issued. None of these projects is yet authorized and funds are not presently available. The NAICS is 541330; small business size standard $4 million. This announcement is open to 8(a) firms only.****2. PROJECT INFO RMATION: Projects anticipated under the proposed contracts will generally be greater than $2 million in construction value, but smaller projects may be required. Task Orders to be issued under these proposed contracts may include design of NEW facilities and major renovations related to construction, additions and alterations of buildings, roads, drainage and utility systems, engineering studies, project planning, topographic surveying to support designs, lead-based paint and asbestos sampling/analysis/ ab atement design, construction phase services including shop drawings review and preparation of O&M manuals; and cost engineering using MCACES software. ****4. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested firms desiring to participate in the 8(a) conference must res pond by submitting your firm?s name, complete address, telephone number, and 8(a) eligibility status to Savannah District Corps of Engineers, 100 West Oglethorpe Avenue, ATTN: CESAS-CT-C (Leila Hollis) by March 12, 2003. ****PERSONAL VISITS for the purpos e of DISCUSSING this announcement WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED, however, a date will be established for the purpose of allowing all interested firms to present their qualifications to the Savannah District Corps of Engineers representatives. Tentatively, the dat e for these presentations is scheduled for March 27, 2003.
