- Dollar magnitude of this project is between $250,000 to $500,000. The performance time is 45 calendar days. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary for the reconstruction of 9 putting greens (Holes # 14,15, 16, 17, 18, 1, 2, 3, and 5) located at Wrenwoods Golf Course at Charleston AFB, SC. Work Order number 26157. The work includes but is not limited to the following major items of work which are listed for the contractor's convenience in order that they may determine the general scope of work involved as follows: Site work includes demolition and reconstruction of existing putting greens following USGA recommendations. This is a non-appropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and will be evaluated using Pricing/Performance Trade-Off Procedures. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price. Offerors must have experience in golf course construction, including irrigation system installation. Offerors must have membership in the Golf Course Builders Association of America. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L & M of the solicitation.
