- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (SSS): 311 HSW/YAPS is seeking sources for a RADIO SET, PRC 90-2. National Stock Number 5820-01-238-6603. Part Number P3-14-0059. Relative NAICS 488330. Predominant Material: Electronics. Size/Dimensions: Approximately 1 inch X 8 inches X 3 inches. Unpackaged unit weight is 1.600 pounds. Form, Fit and Function: This PRC 90-2 radio provides an emergency beacon tone transmission at 243.0 MHZ, a keyed tone modulating continuous wave 243.0 MHZ and 282.8 MHZ. This PRC 90-2 radio is designed to operate with a battery. Emission type is A9 receiving and A9 transmitting. Maximum power dissipation rating is 500.0 milliwatts. DC voltage rating is 9.5 volts minimum and 14.0 volts maximum.
