Description: ITSP II BPA HOLDERS. Request for Proposal and Statement of Work for ITSP Project Control Number 03-SSG-AFSN-0015. Headquarters, Standard Systems Group, Air Force Systems Networking (AFSN) Program Management Office (PMO), is modernizing the existing communications infrastructure used by the Air Force to exercise its forces in order to meet the current and future needs of operational commanders. AFSN is responsible for the installation, modernization and management of the Air Force classified and unclassified data networks, worldwide. This solicitation is seeking to obtain on-site program management and network engineering and systems support for the sustainment and modernization of Air Force Service Delivery Points and Remote Locations to include all Air Force installations, Guard, and Reserve activities worldwide. Provide initial testing of unclassified and classified network solutions. Networks and systems must be compatible with the Joint Technical Architecture, Defense Information Infrastructure (DII), and Combat Information Transport System (CITS) Base Information Transport System Architecture and satisfy Air Staff prioritized requirements. This requirement is being sought under the Information Technology Service Program (ITSP) contract(s); therefore, we invite you to submit a competitive proposal and a performance based Statement of Work (SOW). This anticipated labor-hour task order award is projected to begin performance on or about 27 March 2003 through 26 March 2004, with three option periods (if exercised) of 27 March 2004 through 26 March 2005; 27 March 2005 through 26 March 2006; and 27 March 2006 through 26 March 2007. When preparing your proposal, your labor categories, number of labor hours you propose, and labor prices shall be clear and in accordance with your GSA schedule/ESC BPA. You may, however, discount your prices. The number and type technicians and/or specialists needed to fulfill this work shall be your choice based on your strategy to satisfy this requirement. Your proposal should specify any related incidental costs you feel are necessary to be part of this task order. If the Statement of Objectives specifies travel requirements, you will be reimbursed for travel costs (per diem, air fares, etc) in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation and these costs should be included in your proposal. Your response should reflect your ability to fulfill the requirements of the task relative to the criteria in the SOO because your proposal shall be evaluated in accordance with the criteria stated in the SOO. Please respond by 3:00 pm CST, 26 February 2003. All responses to the RFP should be sent electronically only to the individual(s) listed in paragraph 6 of this letter. Your adherence to this time schedule is of utmost importance so the project can be awarded to accommodate the needs of the customer. Limit your quotes to 10 pages (excluding resumes and SOW). (Proposals exceeding 10 pages will not be accepted and will be returned.) If your company does not anticipate submitting a proposal for this requirement, please forward a NO BID response, electronically.
