- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request For Quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throught Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. This Procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS is 421450 with business size standard 500 employees. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229 has a requirement to purchase seven (7) each, Thermo Hybaid, Multiblock Systems (MBS) 0.2 ML Gradient Satellite Block Units with height adjusting heated lid (96 well block-holds 96 x 0.2 ml tubes or 1 x 96 well plate (includes tube thermistor), part number HBMBSG02 and one (1) each MBS Start Up Kit including PC & Software, part number HBMBSSPCKIT. Quotations shall include all warranty information, technical data, etc. Quotations shall be submitted F.O.B. destination. All quotations are to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications- commercial Items, with quotations, (a copy of this provision may be requested by facsimile to (210) 617-5255, Attention: Lionel Johnson). The following provisions and clauses apply to this action; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, 52-212-5 Contract Terms and conditions Required to Implement Statues and Executive Orders-Commercial Items Including Clauses incorporated by reference under Section b (11-16)(19)(21-22)(25), 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, VAAR clause 852.211-77 Brand Name or equal, 852.211-70 Requirements for Operating and Maintenance Manuals, 852-211-71 Guarantee Clause and 852.270-4 Commercial Advertising. E-mail quotations are unacceptable. Offers are to be submitted written or by facsimile to (210) 617-5255, attention Lionel Johnson Jr by March 11,2003, by close of Business (COB) 5:00pm CST.
