- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all tools, fuels, lubricants, materials, equipment, labor and supervision necessary to perform grass trimming for Beverly National Cemetery, RD #1, Bridgeboro Road, Beverly, NJ 08010 covering the period April 1, 2003 (or date of contract award, whichever is later)through September 30, 2003 (base period), with two (2) one year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2005. The contractor shall trim around headstones and grave markers, trees, curbs and fence lines. There are an estimated 45,000 headstones, 2000 trees, and 2 miles curb and fence lines. There are 65 acres in the cemetery. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561990 and a size standard of $6.0 are applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be in writing to Mrs. Janice E. Corlew and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable) made payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be mailed on or about February 24, 2003. Electronic solicitations may be obtained FREE OF CHARGE on or about February 24, 2003, at the following URL: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=786-66-03. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Quoters are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. CBD Numbered Note No. 1 is applicable.
