- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration plans to negotiate a sole source purchase order with the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) to support the development and presentation of the 2003 International Conference on Ecology and Transportation (ICOET) on August 24-29, 2003 in Lake Placid, New York. The program will address the broad range of ecological issues related to surface transportation systems development and operation. The CTE is uniquely qualified to combine that work into this current proposal for the 2003 ICOET. There is no other organization that has the background and previously established experience and groundwork with the ICOET series to adequately produce the 2003 conference. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the award date is on or about March 6, 2003.
