- Description
- The National Cancer Institute (NCI), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), intends to enter into a (10) month contract extension with the Orkand Corporation, to provide uninterrupted continuation of clinical data management support to the 200 clinical trials conducted by the CCR clinical principal investigators and research teams. The labor hours negotiated in the original contract were supposed to last until early 2004; however, they were used at an accelerated rate because of enhanced scrutiny and requirements of trial sponsors and regulatory agencies. To ensure uninterrupted continuation of essential clinical research support, this non-competitive acquisition is proposed for a period of ten (10) months. During this ensuing ten (10) month period the NCI intends to announce a full and open competition for its future requirements in this area, as a performance-based/award fee contract. During this time frame, the recompetition will be announced, and the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be found on the Research Contracts Branch home page. Proposals are not being requested at this time. No collect calls will be accepted
