Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA is requesting proposals for six each Incubators. This procurement is for the National Ocean Service, Hollings Marine Laboratory located at Charleston, SC. The following is a list of minimum specifications required to meet the agencies need. 3 each NQ2 Incubators, dirunal controls for light and temperature. Must have a capacity of greater than of equal to 60 cubic feet of interior space and include two doors and at least 4 shelves. Dimensions need to be approximately 72 inches wide by 35 inches deep by 78 inches high. Temperature in the units shall be controllable with a range of 4 to 40 degrees C (plus or minus 0.5 degrees) with the ability to control temperature on a programmed cycle. Lighting shall be able to be controlled in dirunal, programmable fashion. An electrical outlet shall be installed inside each unit. 3 each NQ1 Incubators, dirunal controls for light and temperature. Contract award will be based on the lowest price offer meeting the minimum specifications, using the commercial item acquisition process. The solicitation will be available on or about March 15, 2003.
