Description: Thinning of conifers and cutting of brush species by mastication in 116 acres. Contractor furnished equipment shall be low ground pressure not to exceed a maximum of 6 psi, machine width shall not exceed 12 feet, equipped with a masticating or mulching head capable of reaching at least 20 feet from center of machine. Estimated start work date 6/15/03. Contract time 161 days. Project is located on the Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest. Estimated solicitation issue date 3/25/03.
