- Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to award a sole source contract with BAE Systems, CNI Division located in Wayne, NJ for the procurement of fifty (50) MIDS battery insertion tools and fifty (50) battery extraction tools. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may or may not be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-DEC-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 14-FEB-2003.
