- Description
- It is the general intent of this solicitation to obtain operation, maintenance, limited troubleshooting services for ten (10) swimming pools at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL by means of a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The approximate start date for this contract is 04/13/2003. The base performance period shall be for twelve months with yearly options for four (4) additional years. Acquisition of this project will be based upon a Request for Quotations (RFQ) formatted solicitation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) part 13 SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES and FAR part 12 requirements for ACQUISITION OF COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The specific areas to be evaluated include Technical and Price considerations, which are of equal value. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible proposer whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government resulting in the Best Value to the Government, price and technical factors considered. This will be a total Small Business Set-aside Procurement.
