- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a sole-source contract to Hamilton Sundstrand located in Windsor Locks, CT for the procurement of one (1) each Synchrophaser Test Set (P/N AD33480-5). Hamilton Sundstrand is the designer, developer and manufacturer for the Synchrophaser Test Set P/N AD33480-5 to test and check the E-2C Propeller Synchrophaser System Check. As such, Hamilton Sundstrand holds data rights to all the technical data, including complete master drawings, technical and configuration control documents which are essential to the maintenance of the E-2C aircraft components. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may or may not be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
