Description

NA The US Army Research Laboratory, Sensors and Electronics Directorate, plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the purchase of lateral Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Cree, Inc., 4600 Silicon Drive Durham, NC 27703, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the gov ernment. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining w hether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone re quests will be honored. See numbered notes 22
