- NA DO NOT CONTACT TERRY TRAINO. CONTACT Mr. Rene Acosta, 732 532-4230. This is a Market Survey to locate sources capable of reconditioning the 150 KW, 400 Hz diesel engine driven generator set, NSN 6115-12-337-8494, to an as New Condition -zero hours-zero mi les. The generator set is part of the Electric Power Plant III (EPP III), which provides power to the Radar Station and Engagement Control Station of the PATRIOT Missile System. These items were designed and manufactured by Lechmotoren GMBH, Altentadt, G ermany, Cage Code D0857. Suppliers capable of providing the required services must so indicate by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-EC (Acosta), Bldg 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043 or via e-mail to rene.acosta@us.army.mil. The res ponse must include documentation that demonstrates that the interested source can, in fact: Supply the Army with the services required; Obtain the parts needed for the required effort; Complete the effort (2 Generator Sets) within a 2 month period; and per form the work in accordance to NMWRs 9-6115-669 volumes 2, 3, and 4.
