- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13. Solicitation number F26600-03-R-B005 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) using simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-9 and DFARS, Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20021122.The government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this Request for Quotation. Any information submitted is voluntary. The SIC code is 3651, the NAICS code is 334310, the size standard is 750 employees. The requirement is for the following item/equipment - Video tape recorder carrying case; dimensions: 12" x 8" x 4"; hard plastic; used to carry a Sony Digital 8 Video Walkman; carrying handle; internal padding to secure walkman and battery; additional space for extra battery, two (2) video tapes, and electric power cord; three (3) holes on top of case for audio/visual cords measuring ?? in diameter. AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE OFFEROR WHO CAN MEET OR EXCEED THE SPECIFICATIONS ABOVE, ON OR ABOUT 25 FEB 03, WITH A RECEIVING DATE OF DATE OF 3 MAR 03.
