Description
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Immix Technology a subsidiary of Immix Group. The proposed purchase order will be for the following commercial items under GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0330J: Item One: Part # 3121-08469, Rational Suite Enterprise, Floating License--(Qty. 3); Item Two: Part # 3602-08469, Silver Support, Rational Suite Enterprise Floating--(Qty. 3); Item Three: Part # M3100-11098, Rational Suite Enterprise (V2002.05.02) Media Kit (Installation CD(s)--(Qty. 1) This software is used in NRC to provide integrated support for management of all aspects of the software development life cycle, and meets the following NRC?s minimum requirements: ? Requirements Management integrating textual and Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation ? Automated functional testing of software employing graphical user interfaces in client-server and web development environments ? Automated runtime analysis tools for improving application reliability and performance, supporting applications in Java, VC/C++, C#, VB.NET and VB on Windows platforms ? Defect and Change Tracking ? Software artifact management/configuration management (CM) ? Generating and maintaining models in the Unified Modeling Language (UML) ? Automated support for managing information from all parts of the integrated suite, including creating a project Web site with progress metrics data from NRC?s development platform. All of the above requirements or components shall be contained in one (1) integrated suite. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers. The period of performance for the software support is one year. Software support shall include complimentary software upgrades, and an 800 number available Monday-Friday 8 a.m. ? 6 p.m. EST. Interested firms must submit written capability statements demonstrating their ability to perform the required services to the above address not later than (ten) 10 calendar days from the date this announcement appears in Federal Business Opportunities. Capability statements that do not fully demonstrate the respondent?s ability to satisfy the requirements above will not be considered.
