Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is set- aside for small businesses associated with the NIACS code 333319 and small business size standard of 500 employees. Gerber MAXX 2, wide format, thermal printer with incorporated moveable stand, and standard parts, cables, pieces and manuals, 220VAC, 1 phase, 60Hz at 15 Amps power compatible with a NEMA 6-15R plug end. Operate with 36? media width, Omega 1.56 and later software, Gerber Odyssey plotter, and 10-100220 Ethernet or 10-base T connection at a min 300dpi resolution. Unpacking, inspection (to identify any shipping damage or possible missing components), placing in operation location, connection to the computer and power, ensuring proper operation of equipment, and demonstration of the proper use of the MAXX equipment, by a MAXX technician, one year parts/labor on-site service and unlimited phone support. Award evaluation is based on price and brand name. Offers are due by not later than close of business/4:30 PM CST (Central Standard Time) 21 Feb 2003. All prospective offerors must, if not already, register with CCR (Central Contractor Registry) at http://www.ccr.gov. Submission of offers: Can mail, signed dated offers to Attn: Cynthia Baggett, 319th Contracting Squadron, 575 Tuskegee Airman Blvd, Grand Forks AFB, ND 58205, or fax to Cynthia Baggett at (701) 747-4215, or e-mail to Cynthia.baggett@grandforks.af.mil, at or before 21 Feb 03, 4:30 PM CST. As a minimum, offerors must show: (1) The solicitation number; (2) The time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers; (3) The name, address, and telephone number of the offeror; (4) Price and discount terms;(5) Remit to address, if different than mailing address; (6) A completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3; (7) Acknowledgement of solicitation amendments, if any, period for acceptance of offers. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer for 30 calendar days from date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation. As prescribed in 12.301(b)(1), 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. All offerors are required to submit a completed copy of Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, as prescribed in FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications. Commercial Items. As prescribed in 12.301 (b) (2) 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the clause. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues Or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
