- Description
- Project consist of the installation of new potable water lines throughout various areas of Tyndall AFB. In some cases, new water lines will be installed to replace old lines. In other cases, new water lines will be installed to bring potable water to areas of the base that are currently serviced by wells and pumps; once these areas are serviced with new water lines those existing wells and pumps must be capped and abandoned in accordance with FDEP regulations. The contract type will be a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. The performance period will be basic year with an option for up to 3 additional years. Task orders will be written against the basic year and the 3 additional option years. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work or to define the scope of work. The estimated magnitude of this project, to include the option years is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The applicable SIC/NAICS for this acquisition is 1623/234910 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $27.5 million. The proposed contract listed is restricted to 8(a) firms. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be electronically issued on or about 12 Jan 03. PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires all contractors to have a DUNS number. Contractor should be aware that registering could take up to 3 weeks to process. Contractors may access CCR at http://www.ccr.gov.
