Description

NUWCDIV Newport intends to award a fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Gorilla Systems, Inc., Sapulpa, OK for 15 ea. computing system consisting of the following components: 1) Chasis Model: ECR9400B-4U, 19? Rack Server Chassis with 14 slots, card holder and 400 watt PS; 2) Backplane Model: BPGORPCI14S3, 4 PCI, 9 ISA, 1 PICMG Bus with Passive Backplane; 3) Processor Card Model: ROCKY 3782EVS (with SCSI); 4) Pentium III 1.0GHz processor; 5) Low Profile Fan; 6) Black 1.44 Floppy Drive; 7) 256 MB memory; and 8) 100 GB, 7200 RPM Western Digital IDE Drive. The Government intends to issue a request for quote to Gorilla Systems using FAR Parts 12 and 13. The Anticipated award date is 19 February 2003. This action is being processed on a sole source to ensure compatibility with existing devices customized by Gorilla Systems as part of our Common Data Extraction Unit. Any firm that believes it has the capability to meet the Government?s minimum requirements is invited to submit a quote for Government evaluation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals from responsible sources will be considered. NAICS: 334419.
