Description

The work includes providing materials, labor, and equipment to provide 20 cubic yard sludge dumpsters for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and empty government furnished containers that contain "barscreen materials" at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. The contractor shall submit with each month's invoice, Disposal manifest "weight tickets" indicating the amount of sludge removed for that month. PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTATIONS, PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE INVITED TO VISIT AND SATISFY THEMSELVES AS TO THE CHARACTER AND AMOUNT OF WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED. A SITE VISIT MAY BE ARRANGED BY CONTACTING THE FACILITY SUPPORT CONTRACT MANAGER (843) 228-2685 OR (843) 228-4856. A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE TIME OF THE VISIT. All work under this contract shall be completed within 365 calendar days after contract award date. The NAICs code is 221320 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6 million. This procurement is issued unrestricted. The Request For Quotation will be issued through the use of the internet. All prospective offerors must register on the web-site. The entire Request for Quotation will be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on approximately 28 February 2003.
