- NOTE***THIS IS NOT A NEW REQUIREMENT****The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment (including various personnel lifts), incidental engineering, and transportation necessary to provide maintenance and repair services for Interior and Exterior Lighting in accordance with the contract requirements and the latest Norfolk Naval Shipyard?s Mercury control instructions. Work is to be accomplished by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity work type contract for a period of 12 months. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for four additional periods of 12 months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. The applicable Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 7349 and the standard size is $12 million. This solicitation is a 100% small business set aside. This IFB (Invitation for Bid) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-SOL) Website on or about 10 July 2002. Estimated bid opening shall be at least 30 days after the IFB is posted to the E-sol website. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is through the Internet. The address is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the website. Only registered contractors will be notified by email when amendments to the solicitation are issued.
