Description
The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Station Fort Pierce, 900 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce, (St. Lucie County) Florida. The project work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials and transportation for the demolition and removal of the existing ornamental barrier and installation of a new 8 foot tall ornamental fence system with one 4? X 6? wide pedestrian gate, general fill is required at several areas along the fence line for new fence and filling in of abandoned fence post holes, installation of a digital keyless entry intercom system with associated site electrical work. The work also includes the demo, excavation, and removal of curbing and sand, rock and foliage from island median located in the station entrance. Estimated price range is $100,000.00 -$250,000.00. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 235990, Special Trade Contractors, with a size standard of $12.0 million. No phone requests shall be accepted.. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible, but shall not be received by the Contracting Officer later than 15 calendar days after posting of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers and, provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. ATTENTION: minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Tranportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT?s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT?s short-term lending program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
