Description

This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-03-Q-3FA933. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to perform the following onboard USCGC KODIAK ISLAND (WPB-1341): 1.Install structural reinforcements for potable water tanks, 2. Clean sewage tank, 3. Install hot water-on-demand units, 4. Install steering system new motor controllers, 5. Renew fire station piping system components, 6. Renew anchor windlass assembly, 7. Renew sewage piping in forward auxiliary machinery space, 8. Renew sewage deck discharge piping components, 9. Install new dish washer, 10. Provide temporary logistics. Performance period is May 1 to 21, 2003 . Place of performance is St Petersburg, FL RFQ package and Specifications to be available electronically on February 28, 2003. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and Technically acceptable. The proposed solicitation listed here will be awarded as part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
