- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a sole source Purchase Order to Hibbitt, Karlson & Sorenson, Inc. for the renewal of the ABAQUS software license. The ABAQUS software performs computer modeling of tests and is an essential part of the curved girder bridge and high performance steel research projects. Because this software is vital in performing laboratory tests and Hibbitt, Karlson & Sorenson, Inc. are the manufacturers of the software, they are the only known source for the renewal of the software license. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about March 26, 2003.
