- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation is for locating and measuring FIA Forest Inventory plots and providing digital delivery of data on National Forest lands in the Mt. Hood, Siuslaw, and Willamette National Forests. Work shall be in accordance with the procedures detailed in "Field Instructions for the Annual Inventory of Oregon, 2003" hereafter referred to as "Field Instructions". These inventory plots shall be installed on top of selected Current Vegetation Inventory Plots, with the new FIA plot design consisting of four subplots and two transects per subplot. Road access to each plot is not guaranteed. Access to the plots may have short or very long walk-ins. The cost to access these plots is the total responsibility of the Quoter. Documents will be available at this website ONLY ON APPROXIMATELY FEBRUARY 27, 2003.
