- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to contract for a Market Basket of various NSNs for Welded Chain, FSC 4010. Total logistics support and 100% direct vendor delivery to worldwide customers are required. The grouping includes 48 NSNs, listed below. Awarding the entire grouping on a single award is the objective but the Government reserves the right to make split awards if a split will result in substantial savings. The solicitation will be a negotiated source selection with evaluation factors of past performance and price being of roughly equal value. The solicitation will be unrestricted and issued on the basis of full and open competition. The proposed contract will be an indefinite quantity contract and will include a three-year base period and option periods of two years, two years, and three years for a total contract term of ten years. The first year of the base period will be priced; an economic price adjustment clause will apply to all other years of the contract term. Items to be furnished under the contract will be ordered through delivery orders issued via EC/EDI. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about March 12, 2003.
