- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Herold Consulting Company (HCC), 4520 Saul Road, Kensington, Maryland 20895. HCC shall review existing information/literature on Direct Reading Monitors for Biological Organisms (DRIFBO). The contractor shall address the need of emergency responders and other factors relevant to development of DRIFBO for first responders and prepared written summaries and reports based on the review. The contractor shall work eight (8) hours a day, normal business hours, Monday through Friday at the FDA facility in College Park, Maryland or at other sites as needed. The period of performance will be for twelve (12) months. An award will be made fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature which fully demonstrates their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. This sole source procurement is being awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
