- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Central Administrative Support Center (CASC), intends to enter into a sole-source purchase with Amersham Biosciences Corporation for one 9410WKSN Molecular Dynamics Typhoon 9410 variable mode imager and accessories. This instrument is to be delivered to the National Ocean Service at Charleston, SC. The only known source for this instrument is Amersham Biosciences Corporation. This will be a commercial item acquisition. Vendors capable of providing a like instrument with the same capabilities of the 9410WKSN Molecular Dynamics Typhoon 9410 variable mode imager should send a statement to the Contracting Officer documenting the name of the firm, address, telephone number, point of contact and their capability to meet this requirement (detailed data on the proposed equipment). Information may be faxed to (816) 426-7530. Failure to provide the required information will deem your request, non-responsive. The Contracting Officer will make a determination, based on information received, if it is in the Governments best interest to issue a solicitation. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The Government reserves the right to solicit offers based on responses received from this notice. The anticipated award date is within 20 days after the date of this notice. This is not a small business set-aside.
