- THIS IFB SOLICITATION IS CANCELLED. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE REISSUED AS A RFP IN THE NEAR FUTURE. This project consists of conducting a Phase I cultural resource inventory and preliminary site evaluation of approximately 3,129 acres in the Liberty Hill Analysis Area on the Long Cane Ranger District, Sumter National Forest, located in Edgefield and McCormick Counties, SC. The contractor shall locate and record unknown archeological sites within the boundaries of the project area, relocate previously recorded sites within this area, record differentially corrected Global Positioning (GPS) coordinates for all sites, and mark all sites eligible or potentially eligible for listing on the National register of Historic Places.
