- Presolicitation Notice Date Submitted: 20 November 2002 OC-ALC/LGKIADIR AIRBORNE ACCESSORIES 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AD297E TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3028. REPAIR/OVERHAUL Overhaul Defogger, Solicitation F4601-02-R-0115 P.O.C. Ron Reed/LGKIA (405) 739-4340, e-mail Ronald.reed@tinker.af.mil This is a requirement for Overhaul. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the below listed item. A firm fixed price 5 year option contract is contemplated. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1660-00-008-4051; P/N: 748890-1; Noun: Overhaul of Defogger; Applicable to F/5, T/38 aircraft; Quantity: 24 each. Item 0002: Over and Above Work; Item 0003: Data IAW DD1423s. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 05 December 2002, approximate closing date will be 05 January 2003. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: CLIN 0001: 3 each per month, 30 Days ARO reps and orders and shall be IAW instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, quotation which shall be considered. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at 405-736-3273. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. See Note 26. NOTE 26: Based upon market research, the government is not using the policies contained in far part 12, acquisition of commercial items, in its solicitation for described supplies or services.
