- Description
- Customs is issuing a non-competitive purchase order to Oracle to provide support to the Vessel Mgmt. System (VMS). The VMS is a secure web intranet application and was developed by using several Oracle software products and tools, primarily of which a Designer 2000, a CASE tool that captures and documents business requirements and design, and generates physicial database in addition to the database web pages. Oracle's technical expertise is required to ensure timely and accurate accomodation of Customs application busines requirements using the features provided by Oracle tools. As a result, the VMS project will require on-demand support directly from Oracle. See FAR 6.302-1.
